Woman who was killed in Glendale at the stitch; Police looking for suspects

Glendale, AZ (Azfamily) – The police are investigating after a woman died after a stabbing in Glendale in the late Monday evening.

The Glendale police said that the officials answered a person's calls who stabbed at 9:15 p.m. near the 83rd Avenue and the Cardinal Way, which is located east of the State Farm Stadium.

Officers found on site a 62-year-old woman who had been stabbed at least once. She was taken to the hospital where she died later, the police said.

The woman's family has not yet been notified, so that her identity has not yet been published.

A suspect has not yet been found or identified. This investigation continues.

The police said several cars drove through the intersection at the time of the stab, and there were other people in the area. Anyone with information that could help with the search for a suspect should call the Glendale police under 623-930-3000.
