In his late twenties, Antoni Porowski dreamed of having a family and having a Brooklyn Brownstone with a garden, but then life really changed. This change came in the form of fame and a larger bank account about the debut of the Netflix hit series “Queer Eye” 2018, a repetition of Bravo's “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”.

Mr. Porowski, 41, is a member of the show, a group of themed experts who help to take over the life of an individual as a “hero” in the course of an episode. In his role as Food and Wine expert of the show, Mr. Porowski won the fans with his charisma and accessible tips for cooking. Years after his term in the show, which published her ninth season in December 2024, Mr. Porowski's business manager called to say that he should consider buying a house. Mr. Porowski hesitated. “I didn't want the pressure and stress to have a home,” he said. “I was a bit of afraid. I just didn't want to grow up.”
