Pitbull attack: woman with broken women after Lhasa Apso in the Throggs Neck, the Bronx, killed

Throgg's neck, the Bronx (WABC) – A woman is horrified and with a broken heart after two pit bulls killed her dog in the Bronx. The owner of the attacking dogs is nowhere to be found.

Everything that Monica Reyes left of her dog is a piece of his tail. Nowhere does she go without this little memory of her 8-year-old Lhasa Apso named Juju, who was only killed by the family by two Pitbulls a week ago by the family.

“I tried to get him out of Pit Bull while my daughter was crying and I tried to protect the children from the attack,” said Reyes.

It happened in the Throggs Neck houses in the Bronx, where a Nycha work carried out the Pitbull before finally dropping Jujus mutilated body.

Reyes had no choice but to put it down.

As for the owner of the Pitbulls, Reyes said that he screamed: “I'm so sorry, call 911” and then ran away with his girlfriend and two dogs and never came back.

Reyes filed a police report, but says that there seems to be little interest in pursuing it, possibly because the law is currently an attack on an animal by a different animal than just as property crimes.

Last weekend, two Pitbulls Lauren Claus' Chihuahua Penny, the namesake of a new law, which was introduced by Jenifer Rajkumar, New York, was introduced to make the owners of aggressive dogs liable in an attack.

Fortunately, Penny survived, but Juju was not so happy in the Bronx.

“That would have been the family member of everyone, everyone's child,” said Reyes. “How next is it next? What will it need to take these dogs off the street?”
