Persecution by Linsday ends in the crash, arrest previously deported criminals

A man is now in custody and has a long list of charges that are accused of having attacked a woman with a weapon, ramming a van with children and leading the Lindsay police on a chase that ended with a massive accident.

And we learn that he was a criminal who had already been deported.

The Lindsay police said they were called to a house near Silvercrest and Central for the first time on Tuesday morning at around 7:30 a.m., after a woman said that 49-year-old Rafael Garcia had physically attacked her in a bathroom and threatened her with a weapon.

They say they managed to flee and load their four children into a vehicle – when Gaytan climbed into another vehicle and rammed her vehicle before leaving.

The police later found Gaytan's vehicle in Tulare – but he said that he had switched to another vehicle and drove back to Lindsay.

According to officers, they tried to cover him, but Gaytan declined and returned to the place of the original call.

They say he refused to get out of the vehicle – and encouraged the officers to shoot him.

Finally, the officials say that Gaytan drove away and hit two patrol cars and almost a third – before I collapsed with another driver at the crossroads of Hermosa and Ashland.

He tried to flee, but was put down by officers and spectators.

The crash brought down a light pole and a stop sign at the intersection.

Gaytan and the other driver were taken to a hospital to treat minor injuries.

He was booked due to domestic violence, terrorist threats, false detention, criminals in possession of a firearm, a criminal in the possession of ammunition, the endangerment of children, fully hidden, difficult attacks on peace officers and resistance to the arrest.
