NHL-Playoffs 2025: schedule, bracket, scores, results for all first rounds to follow the Stanley Cup

Fast strikes were the subject of both Monday evening games when the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars come to a win in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Florida Panthers scored three goals in the last five minutes and scored a likely 4-2 victory over the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning to climb 3-1 in their series. Late in the third period, Aaron Ekblad and Seth Jones scored 11 seconds to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 lead. Carter Verhaeghe's empty network was the last balance. Strangely enough, the flash also scored two goals of 11 seconds, and for a while it seemed the series of teams that won on the visit of ICE – until it didn't. “We have to go to Tampa and have a good game,” said Jones about the 5th game 5 on Wednesday.

In Dallas, the Star Center Center Wyatt Johnston set up a franchise record for the fastest score to start a game when he found the back of the network in game 5 for nine seconds. He would add a second gate and an assist to the management of host stars to a 6-2 victory against the Colorado Avalanche and a 3-2 lead in the series.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Panthers have both chances to eliminate their respective enemies, the Senators of Ottawa and New Jersey Devils, on Tuesday in a couple of game 5 on home ice. And in the Western Conference, the Vegas Golden Knights and Minnesota Wild together with the Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers are bound in two games with the games 5s in this series for Tuesday evening.
