Video shows 3 inkfish fishermen that were saved from a small capsia boat in front of Cape Cod

Dramatic videos show the moments when three frozen fishermen were saved from their small, kentrized boat off the coast of Cape Cod late Monday evening.

If Philip Tran hadn't been to the right place at the right time, the three boat drivers, whom he would have found on the tiny boat in the middle of the ocean, were in a worse situation.

“I was shocked when I saw it and we only came up with the right to action,” said Tran. “It was very crystal clear, it was like a divine light, and we just went in the direction of and when we got closer, we saw the capsized boat with three people as above.”

It was around 10 p.m. on Monday evening, and Tran and his friends were about to start ink fold, but they discovered the three men, whose ink fish expedition went directly to Squaw Island in Hyannis.

“Thought they would die”

First aiders say the conditions last night are cold, foggy and dangerous.

“They thought they would die,” said Tran. “I asked her: 'How do you feel? You thought you will die' You said 'yes, of course.'”

Thanks to Philip Tran and his friends, the stranded men were brought to safety, then they went down the fire rescue boat. First aiders say that only one of the rescued men had a life jacket.

Hazards of the squid fishing

While catching the squid is currently a popular pastime, Hyannis once said that it can be dangerous if they are not prepared.

Savers say they have had three rescues of squid fishermen in recent years and in 2020 a Fischer died Under the same conditions.

“Safety equipment and everyone must have their life jackets, Flare weapons, if they had Flare weapons, they could have been saved very quickly,” said Tran.

Apart from this council, Tran is only happy that he was in the right place to help.

“They have family and children to go home and I'm glad they came home,” said Tran.

First aiders cannot repeat enough that if they rise on the water, always have a life jacket.
