The police from Clovis will quickly take over Tesla in connection with the murder of Caleb outside of McDonald's

Clovis, California (KFSN) – The police confiscated a Tesla from which they believe that the murder of a teenager could be combined in front of a Clovis McDonald's last month.

On Tuesday, the Clovis Police Department served a search order in a house about a mile where 18-year-old Caleb Quick was shot.

Around 10:30 a.m., detectives went into the house and brought out a girl in handcuffs.

The police say that the Tesla is the escape car among the fatal shootings.

“This was a big break in that case. There is no question,” said Tony Capozi, right analyst from Action News.

“What you will look for is firing residues. Someone who uses a weapon and shoots once or twice or a number of times, shot residues will be transferred to the car on your body, your hands, your clothes and when you climb into this car.”

When the car was taken away, the investigators spoke to a 16-year-old girl.

Capozzi says what she knows could be the key.

“I would think if this person who drives, and if this person knew what happened, they will soon see an arrest. At the end of the week, someone will be arrested,” said Capozzi.

The suspect was seen before the fatal shooting on surveillance video in the McDonald's.

Investigators believe that the suspect had driven to Fresno on 10 lanes to the west, where they say that a white Tesla was waiting.

“The 2024 or newer model, on the back here, is actually” Tesla “and a symbol. Therefore we know that it is a 2024 or newer one,” said Curt Fleming, police chief of Clovis, last week in a press conference.

According to Valley Crime Stopper, tips have been poured in for this case.

“I think that with the fact that this crime has taken place, they are dissatisfied and they want justice to serve,” said Erica Magarian, managing director of Valley Crime Stopers.

From Tuesday evening there is no word about a suspect, and no arrests were made.
