Mets bats are quiet again against diamondbacks (highlights)

The New York Mets (23-14) could not solve Zac Gallen for a second start in a row and on Tuesday evening in Chase Field only scored four goals in a 5-1 defeat against the Arizona Diamondbacks (19-17).

New York scraped out his only run in third place, thanks to the patients of Francisco Lindor, Juan Soto and Pete Alonso, who were taken for a walk, the last of whom extended the inning after a overturned double game. However, Gallen was locked up from there, pulled back 11 in a row and only allowed two goals over seven strong innings.

David Peterson held Arizona through three innings before defensive Miscues opened the door. A bad -played large -scale on the third and a passed ball has set up two early diamondback runs. Peterson had more problems in the sixth, when Lourdes Gurriel Jr. was crushed for a Homer with two runs by Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Despite the damage, Peterson gave the Mets six innings and beat six in six innings while allowed four runs, three of them.

Francisco Alvarez was a ray of hope, 2: 3 and recorded half of the New York hits. The Mets threatened two runners on board in ninth place, but could not benefit. Brandon Dimo, who had previously popped his knee, ended the 0: 4 and has now met in his last 14 bats.
