I asked Kling Ai to generate a music video of my favorite band

How we recently coveredKling Ai has a promising start, with the powerful new 2.0 model doing great work Image-to-video projects And to work with text demands to create some fun, worrying and almost bizarre creations.

After Klinge handed over the key to the kingdom, I wanted to test his creativity with something that is less a direct prompt, and more an inquiry for something that is a bit more ethereal.

I asked to generate a music video of five seconds for the song 'Rain', from one of my favorite bands Sleep token. I wanted to see how far I can push the model in the recognition of the underlying topics of the song or whether there is a lot of rain.

Five seconds are available for free users and reset 100 credits per issue when using the Kling 2.0 master model, and I was impressed by how well it understood not only my entry request, but also my negative request.

That's how it developed.

The command prompt

The band is known for its dark, almost imaginative texts, and rain follows this topic as well.

Against this background, my request was:

“Create a sci-fi-sound piece for the song Rain by The Band Sleep Token and make sure that precipitation is included in a cyberpunk-like city.”

I was careful for negative requests to have too much color. Cyberpunk tends to create a certain pallet of pink and purple, but that felt a bit too easy. Instead, I just wanted something to be more soher and more brutalist.

“Do not add too much liveliness to the project, it should feel relatively gray in the color” was my negative request.

The Kling website gave me a rough estimated waiting time of 6 minutes, so I got a cup of coffee and returned to some amazing results.

I was offered four outputs from Kling, and although this sounds with weak praise, like the model, I was impressed by the consistency of the results.

All four offer a futuristic city and a lot of rain (as it was to be expected), and they all do relatively good work to be too bright in one place.

I also notice that the car looks almost as if it were in front of a van before it becomes clear that they are the same shape.

I was consistently impressed by the way the umbrella is in the videos with a transparent, and you can also see buildings about it in any recording.

Since Kling only produces short videos, we cannot currently create music videos in full length. However, it seems the direction we go.

These short clips show how far KI video has already come, especially in the understanding of the context. When Sora, the first big AI videoogenerer, started, he was chaotic everywhere and a bit.
