The Alliance City Council decides not to examine any leaks, the city clerk resigns

A leak within the city of Allianz triggered the discussion among the city council members of the Allianz last Monday evening and thought about whether they should initiate an examination of the leaks. At the session, the council members also discussed their way forward after they had received the resignation of City Clerk Shelbi Pitt.

The Council opened the meeting with the discussion of the vacant vacancies left by Pitt. The Vice Mayor Tearza Mashburn read an explanation and thanked Pitt for her hard -working efforts when he worked in the role of the city clerk.

“Her 13 -year -old career in the town hall has expanded her base of knowledge and skills and gave her the opportunity to get into the position of the city clerk with hard work,” said Mashburn. “I have the feeling that as a city organization we were very lucky that they had years of experience to make the transition from the previous employee the least disturbing. In my opinion, it was responsible for you and shows your commitment to our city that you can prevent your expertise, training and instructions to prevent financing losses, by using the equipment, with the equipment, with the equipment, with the equipment, with the equipment, with the process, using the prevent for equipment, to transition with other equipment, for equipment, equipment, to transition with other rooms, with other rooms and others, for equipment, for equipment and equipment, with other rooms, with other government reserves.

“A temporary proposal to ensure that the departments and services have not been strongly influenced is a valid idea for taking the Council into account for long -term services for the city,” said Mashburn. “I would have been happy to read and check this consideration in front of our citizens. I would have liked the council to have a conversation about the possible negative and necessary advantages that a consultancy contract could have shown. Unfortunately, the council was not approved.”

Mashburn said that the first draft of the agreement was leaked before the council had the opportunity to discuss it, she missed a complete discussion on this matter.

“This was a first draft, a possible, temporary solution and was not an end to how it was rumored,” said Mashburn. “I hope that the best solution will prevail and I gratefully for your commitment to the city and the willingness to still be a resource if this direction is in the best interest of our city's health.”

Council member Jay Weisgerber said that they had to follow a protocol and noted that the proposal that was leaked did not go before the council.

“We can't talk if there are more than three of us, so we can't talk as a group,” said Weisgerber. “But the suggestion was exactly that was nothing that we had discussed or nothing, and that was what was leaked through. And everyone says:” Well, they hide things and now they try to cover their butt. “This is not what we could imagine before the council before we could make it open as a public.

Mayor John McGhehey said that Pitt had submitted her formal resignation with her last day for May 23. He was grateful for everything Pitt achieved during her tenure and said she was an enrichment for the city of Allianz.

“A few weeks ago, I mentioned in her review that she helped me stay between the alleys a few times when I forgot what my role is, so I would like to thank her for it,” said McGhehey. “She had a very positive review of the Council a few weeks ago.”

McGhehey proposed to open the position both internally and externally, as they have the short time until Pitt has ended in the role. They agreed to advertise the position for two weeks. The council agreed to check applications for the introduction.
