Police opened investigations after Arabic -Israeli woman who was killed in Lod crimes in Israel

Sahar Abu Hajaj, 48, was murdered in Lod on Wednesday morning. She was a mother of eight years.

Through the balance of Arabam initiatives, an NGO that follows Arabic-Israeli crime rates, Sahar is the 88. Such victims in 2025 and the fifth woman.

Sahar was the first woman of Issam Abu Hajaj who currently lives in Turkey – she and Issam were divorced. Sahar lived in the complex in the city of Abu Hajaj against her wishes.

Hajaj's husband had earlier drug offenses and participation in crimes

ISSAM was charged with drug -related offenses and escaped to Colombia a few years ago, further to Morocco and finally to Turkey.

The law enforcement authorities, including courts and social assistance, recommend that Sahar no longer lived in the center, where their lives were threatened.

In recent years, four out of five partners of Issam have been killed in violence.

Issam had another woman, Manar, 34, and a daughter, Hadra, 14. Together they were killed in a car in a car in 2022.
