NBA-Play-offs: Stephen Curry injured when Golden State Minnesota defeated

The victory of the Golden State Warriors against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the NBA play-offs was reduced by a thigh injury to Stephen Curry.

The 37-year-old came up in the first game of the series before half-time after performing during the 99-88 victory of the Warriors in Minneapolis.

After a defensive game, the two -time MVP clutched the back of his left leg and initially tried to continue before signaling the bank that it had to be replaced.

Buddy Hield, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green shared the evaluation pollution in Curry's absence and scored 62 points between them.

Curry will probably miss the second game (Friday, May 9th, 01:30 BST) when the Warriors are waiting for the results of the scan.

“We are definitely a game planning so that it is not available for game two, but we don't know yet,” said Warriors coach Steve Kerr.

“With a knee tendon, it is difficult to imagine that he would play.

“I spoke to him at half -time, he was obviously depressed. The boys took him in and played a great game, but we are all concerned about Steph.

“It is part of the game. Boys are injured, you continue.”
