Weekend crimes in Delaware County ends with 3 arrests in Philadelphia

Philadelphia (WPVI) – A suburban weekend crime in which three young men were supposed to be involved, very early Saturday morning with the robbery of a Honda CR-V from a house in North Edgemont Street in the media, Delaware County.

A few hours later, around 4 a.m., the same three men allegedly approached a few blocks away to the East 5th Street unit block.

“She invited her car for a trip. She had traveled from Vermont, stopped in the city to visit a family, and invited her car when she was approached by three men, one of whom had a pistol,” said John McCormick, head of the media policis.

The woman ran away with her key, but the thieves got away with her wallet, which she dropped.

Fast lead until a little after midnight on Sunday.

Monitoring video shows that a man comes out of a white CR-V and steals an Infiniti SUV from Daniel Emmerson's house in the media.

Emmerson says he watched the whole thing on his ring camera.

“I turned around, clicked on it and I could see how my wife's car was reversed. I looked over to make sure that she is here. She is. And jumped up quickly and ran,” he said.

In fact, Emmerson said that he was running for his truck, called in 911, and followed the suspect for a short time until the state police took over the persecution.

Nevertheless, the suspects got away.

Then, a few hours later, patrol officers discovered the CR-V in Philadelphia. There was a persecution and ended that the CR-V hit parked cars in the city's Juniata section.

The police moved in and arrested all three suspects inside.

Boss McCormick said he was enthusiastic to hear that these suspects are outside the streets.

“It is great because the security of our city is of the greatest importance for us and there is certainly great concern for many of our residents.

The investigators also tell us that Infiniti was later left in the Kensington district in Philadelphia and undamaged.

The police also encourage everyone to unlock their car doors with the keys inside, and do not try to pursue someone who stole their car.

Play it safe, call 911 and let the police do your job.
