Jefferson, Lewis & Oswego Counties: Flood guard remains in force until Wednesday morning.

* What … fall floods caused by excessive rainfall is still possible.

* Where … parts of Central and Western New York, including the following counties, in central -new York, Jefferson, Lewis, Northern Cayuga and Oswego. In West New York, Allegany, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario and Wayne.

* If … until Wednesday morning.

* Effects … Excessive drainage can lead to flooding of rivers, streams, streams and other deeper locations.

* Additional details … showers and thunderstorms will continue until Tuesday evening. Periods with heavy rain can produce quantities from 1 to 2 inches, whereby localized heavier quantities are possible. This precipitation, which falls for reasons already saturated, leads to the potential for floods.

Onida County: The flood guard will remain in force on Wednesday afternoon until 2 p.m.

* Effects … Excessive drainage can lead to flooding of rivers, streams, streams and other deeper locations. Streams and currents can rise from their banks. Floods can occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* Additional details … Medium -heavy precipitation continues to fall over the Nordfinger Lakes region and the Western Mohawk Valley after 1 to 3 inch rain has fallen in the last 12 hours. Some of these rain showers can move to Steuben County in the next few hours.
