Burnes has had to deal with the right shoulder inflammation in the past few weeks, although he had no structural damage. This meant that Burnes did not complete the switch to the injured list, even though it was closed for a little, more than a warning break for the time being.

Corbin Burnes spoke in this matter on Tuesday: (Credit Arizona Sports)

“We do better, one of these things that I have thrown through in the last three starts. Somehow nagging, pain that would simply not go away and got worse if we had 60, 65 pitches. The right call was to get over the hump now instead of being effective for three or four innerings and then trying to grind the last couple.” I would be effective for six or seven. “

So far, Corbin Burnes has set up 3.58 ERA and 32.2 innings in six games in six games in six games. In his last start in New York last week, he achieved a victory against the Mets, in which Burnes set up six innings, and only gave up a deserved run with four goals. After the MRI revealed that his Injru was nothing more than inflammation, he joined exactly where he ceased in his throwing programs and apparently seems to have a bullpen session tomorrow. If Burnes is able to get this without persistent problems, he should be ready for the start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Dodgers:

“He was a little reluctant. He thought I wanted to pitch, but I know if I don't take care of it. … So we developed a plan and we stay on this plan and he bought it.

The right-handed program continued this week and will organize a bullpen session on Wednesday. If everything goes well, he will still be on the right track against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday evening. Arizona will certainly be happy that the man of $ 200 million will be back on the hill as soon as possible.
