Bruce Springsteen recently debuted the previously unmistaked archive station “Faithlos” from his upcoming box set Tracks II: The Lost AlbensAnd now an accompanying music video for the song has been posted on his YouTube channel.

As already reported, “Faithless” is the title track of one of seven unpublished archive albums that were collected in the box set. The Faithless The album is described as a “long -lost film soundtrack” for a “spiritual western” film that has never been made

Taking this description into account, the “treacherous” video could be a scene from this non -existent film. The black and white clip begins with film material from Springsteen, which wears a cowboy hat and stands in the desert on a hot day. Bruce pours water onto a handkerchief and wipes its sweaty forehead and face.

The camera then follows Springsteen when it goes through the Joshua Tree National Park in South California. In the course of the video we see a large cactus with bees that float near him near him, and then a close -up of Bruce 'thoughtful face.

Next we see Bruce, who looks contemplative, standing in the desert sun outside. When the video comes to an end, a shady jumping steen goes to the camera with the sun behind him as he leads a horse.

More about the song “faithless”

“Faithless” is a delicate acoustic melody with folk, land and gospel influences. The texts are sung from the perspective of a man who admits that he is missing until he finds redemption in a higher power or perhaps in the love of a woman.

“Well, I am on the rocks of the river / faithless, faithless, faithful, then I met you,” Springsteen sings at the beginning of the song. “I went the eaves of the garden / faithless, faithful and loyal, then I saw you.”

Later, in the bridge department of the song, Bruce sings: “I reached for the hem of his garment / I stood in the light of the door / I saw my face in the waters on the river / faithless, faithless.”

“Faithless” is the third lane from which Springsteen was released Tracks II Box set. The others were “rain in the river” and “blind stain”, both of which go back to the 1990s.

“Faithless” is now available as a digital download and via streaming services.
