Gretop woman flew near Novinger after the crash of the Highway 6

A woman from Greentop was seriously injured on Tuesday morning when her vehicle ran off the street and hit a tree on the Highway 6 in Adair County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on May 6, 2025 around 11:40 a.m., about six miles west of Novinger. A Toyota Camry from 2012 drove west when he ran from the right side of the street, hit a embankment and then hit a tree.

The 61-year-old driver, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered serious injuries and was flown for treatment with the MU-4 helicopter to the university clinic in Columbia.

The vehicle was towed from the scene as a whole and by Lakeside Wrecker.

Trooper Snyder was supported by the Adair County County Sheriff department at the crime scene by the Sheriff department, fire brigade and ambulance.
