The case was brought to light on Monday, February 17, 2025, when J. Emmanuel Duanah submitted a complaint to the police in Kakata. Duanah accused Pastor Coleman and a woman who is only known as “Jacqueline” – as a Lovette Jackson, who was wrong to travel abroad to travel abroad for the legitimate possibilities.

According to Duanah, Jacqueline claimed that she could help children to Australia and Canada and Musu Sheriff, Daniel Kollie, Hanna Duanah and William Vesselee as some of the intended beneficiaries. Pastor Coleman was supposedly for the agreement of travel documents and means of transport, including flights and bus cards.

Sacrifice statements show patterns of deception

Sacrifice testimonies describe a troubling exploitation pattern. Daniel Kollie was the first to leave Liberia on February 20, 2025 after his documents were edited and 2,000 US dollars were paid to Jacqueline. Hanna Duanah followed on April 14, 2025 after a payment of 1,700 US dollars.

When arriving in Nigeria, the alleged victim of human trafficking, Hanna, said she recognized Jacqueline, but was stunned when Jacqueline came to know her. When Hanna realized that she had been deceived, she contacted her family and triggered further investigations.

Musu Sheriff, who traveled on November 23, 2024, said her passport and her phone were confiscated in Nigeria. She was arrested in a house with other victims and reported reported by two men, only identified as Patrick and Abu to lie to her family on phone calls.

Another victim, William Schiff, claimed that his mother paid 5,500 US dollars together with other expenses before he was traveling on April 28, 2025. He later alerted his mother that they were in danger and were often pursued by the Nigerian authorities.

In one case, Musu Sheriff told a failed visa attempt at Lagos Airport, which led to an attack by the Nigerian immigration officers. Jacqueline reported reportedly by jumping over a fence. Under increasing pressure, she refunded some victims of the money and allowed some, including Hanna Duanah, to return to Liberia on April 29, 2025.

After her return, Hanna confirmed that she and her father were deceived by Jacqueline and Pastor Coleman. Daniel Kollie also announced that he was led by Jacqueline to another person named “Elizabeth” to process his documents.

The ships informed the investigators that he paid a total of over 6,000 US dollars because he believed that he was on his way to Canada, but was stranded in Nigeria like the others.

When Pastor Coleman was contacted behind the police cells in Kakata, she admitted to processing documents for the victims, but claimed that he was supposedly been deceived by his wife Lovette Jackson that he lived in Australia.

However, the police authorities continue their investigations and are actively looking for Jacqueline, who continues to be at large. The police ask someone with additional information to report.
