A man was arrested because he suspected of causing death through dangerous driving after a passenger who had died in one of two cars on an accident.

An Audi A3 and a Nissan grade were in collision on March 29 at the Whalley New Road in Blackburn, the police from Lancashire said.

The force said that a passenger in Nissan, a man in the 90s, said that he was admitted to the hospital with only minor injuries. However, his condition deteriorated and he died on April 25th. The drivers of both cars were not seriously injured.

The police arrested a 33-year-old Blackburn man on Tuesday, but has released him for the deposit since then.

The officials asked people to check a CCTV or Dashcam film material to see if they have recorded something that could support their investigations.

Det SGT Matt Davidson said: “The work is still used to determine the full circumstances that led to his death, and I would ask all witnesses that we have not spoken to, or someone with film material to contact us as soon as possible.”
