Greetings from “Can't Ause Ward on Saturday”, your morning -college football, with the kind permission of the long -time Illini Beat Writer, AP Top 25 voters and Heisman State Rep Bob Asmussen. He will give you his views of the game that he loves every day.

Up to this point, one would have to say that Michigan's football program comes out of the spy scandal without a lot of damage.

The team is still considered the National Champion 2023, which should always be the case.

Yes, head coach Jim Harbaugh went to the NFL, but that would probably happen at some point anyway. His hand was forced earlier when he wanted it, well. I do not expect that he will see again on a college line for the rest of his career.

The current coach of Michigan, Sherrone Moore, is to be suspected of two games in 2025, which is imposed by the school to appease the NCAA committee for violations. The examination continues with a hearing expected in June.

The case with the former Michigan employee, Connor Stalions, brought a thick cloud over the program. The goal should now be reduced the long -term effects.

If the NCAA committee is not satisfied with the two-game benching for Moore and instead imposed a seasonal suspension, it would be devastating for the Wolverines. The school wants to avoid that.

So two could be in four and that will be. I never know with the NCAA.

I have long campaigned for the organization to beat the schools that violate the rules in the wallet. Huge fines should at least serve a partial deterrent.

It could also work with trainers. Severe fines for violations. Perhaps you take all moores bonus revenue from the 2023 season, double it and then give the money for charitable purposes.

I look forward to a final solution and are again worried about blocking and attacking.
