We can start doing something very clear. The Cleveland Cavaliers would not have had a great chance in game 2 without Donovan Mitchell.

With the most important participants Evan Mabley, Darius Garland and De'andre Hunter On Tuesday it was left to Mitchell to record a large part of the gap. He cleverly did this and fell by 48 points with 15 out of 30 shootings with nine templates, five rebounds, four steals and five sales in 36 minutes. He took enough punishment to achieve the free -wire line for 21 attempts.

And so they go from a 48-point playoff performance with a bitter taste in the mouth. Nobody ever said the NBA playoffs were fair.

The Cavaliers now have two days off to make their injured players healthy and thus rest a little.
