Steve Kerr about Stephen Curry's thigh injury: “It is difficult to imagine that he would play Thursday”

The Golden State Warriors amazed the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday, even though they had lost Star Stephen Curry against a thigh injury. Now you have to prove that you can do it again.

Warriors trainer Steve Kerr offered a pessimistic injury update after the team of the team in game 1. While Curry was classified as daily with the injury, Kerr does not expect the star shooter to be available for game 2.

“We don't know yet,” said Kerr. “But with a knee tendon it is difficult to imagine that he would play on Thursday.”

Curry will undergo an MRI on Wednesday to determine the full extent of the injury. Even if it is mild, the fast turnaround – the Warriors are on Wednesday, before returning on the pitch on Thursday – make it difficult to recover in time.

Curry left game 1 in the first half due to the injury. He was unable to return to the competition and played almost 13 minutes in the victory. Curry ended the game with 13 points.

In his absence, Buddy Hield and Jimmy Butler performed to wage the warriors. HILD headed all goal scorers with 24 points and Butler scored with an almost triple double, scored 20 points, scored 11 rebounds and scored 8 assists.

While Butler's presence is certainly strengthening the warriors' opportunities, he also knows how important it is to have curry on the pitch. After the victory, Butler said that the team wants to go back his “best player”.

“We want Steph back, I will tell you that,” said Jimmy Butler after the victory over TNT. “It is difficult without playing this man.”

When asked what he learned from game 1, Butler replied: “This Steph is our best player.”

Despite Curry's absence, the Warriors still managed to get the victory out, although it contributed to Minnesota a sloppy start. The Timberwolves scored only 31 points in the first half, which meant that coach Chris Finch Star Anthony Edwards called after the game. Edwards had only 1 point at half time. He jumped back in the second half and ended the game with 23 points and 14 rebounds.

Although they got the victory out, the Warriors will hope that Curry can return sooner than later. Tuesday has proven that the team can still do the work without their star player, but this is not a sustainable formula for a team, especially in the playoffs.
