Tular County Sheriff unfortunately announces the death of recently retired deputy Roberto Villarreal

May 7, 2025 – Officials of the Sheriff of Tulare County unfortunately announce the recent death of the deputy pensioner Roberto Villarreal.

With great regret, Sheriff Mike Boudreax announces the death of the retired deputy Roberto Villarreal on Monday in the KaWeah Health Medical Center. He was 57.

The deputy Villarreal was hired in 1994 and began his career as a law enforcement authorities in prison terms in which he worked in the main prison and in the street camp. He completed the police academy in 1999 and was promoted to deputy sheriff I.

He worked the rest of his career in the Sheriff office as a bailiff in the court buildings in Porterville and Tulare/Pixley and has served as a bailiff for judge Stephen Drew in the past 10 years.

He retired on April 4, 2025.

The deputy Villarreal is survived by his siblings: Aracelia, Adriana, Alicia, Jose, Jr., Javier and Rojelio. His sister Aracelia said her brother was a good -looking man, and he loved his family and the sheriff's office very much.

Funeral arrangements are still pending.
