Nate Willems announces the Attorney General of Iowa, promises to combat crimes, company abuse

The occupational lawyer and former legislator of the state, Nate Willems, announced his campaign for the IOWA Attorney General on Wednesday and promised to act against violent crime and abuse of companies.

Willems, a Democrat and long-standing lawyer for employee rights, said that he would concentrate on protecting consumers, working with law enforcement agencies, and holding companies who are responsible for wage theft and unfair working practices.

“Iowans earn a lawyer of general who stood for their rights and stood strong interests,” said Willems. “I will make sure that working families receive justice that they deserve.”

Willems recalled millions in the repayment of IOWA workers, including $ 15 million for hospital employees and 1.7 million US dollars for deposit banks. Previously, he was two office hours in the Iowa House and now practices lawyers at Rush & Nicholson in Cedar Rapids.

The incumbent Attorney General Brenna Bird, a Republican, has not yet announced whether she will strive for a re -election. According to reports, she is considering a run for the governor.
