Xbox Branded Handheld photos licks and it's not quite as chic as the Switch 2

Two versions of the upcoming ROG Ally 2 were leaked through FCC photos, whereby a standard white model and a black model with a dedicated Xbox button are displayed.

The photos of VideoCardz (thanks, Eurogamer) come from the official certification of the hardware of the US FCC and therefore seem to be quite legitimate. It is probably our first look at “Project Kennan”, a collaboration between Asus and Microsoft, to create a PC handheld with Xbox-Branded.

It seems to be a fairly simple development of the ROG allied and two analog sticks, a (terrible) D-pad, standard xbox facial buttons and a few other smaller bits and bobs. It is a little difficult to go around on the following photos, but the Xbox button on the black model can be seen on the left, right next to the analog stick.

Admittedly, the fingerprints in this thing do no favors, but we believe that it is not a patch on the upcoming switch 2 in terms of pure aesthetics. The industrial design can address some, but the sharp edges, the strange triangular buttons and futuristic speakers just make it look a little … cheap ..?

We will probably find out more about this thing in the coming months, but there is a possibility that the Switch 2 will not offer much competition.
