Matthijs de Ligt by Manchester United from the Athletic Club, West Ham, but hurt “no big problem”

Matthijs de Ligt has no serious injury, but will miss Manchester United's games against Athletic Club and West Ham United, said Ruben Amorim.

De Ligt suffered a muscle injury in the 33rd minute of the 4: 3 defeat by United in Brentford in the Premier League on May 4th and was replaced by Harry Maguire.

The Netherlands injury dropped in the establishment of Brentford's second goal of the game and made United Player frustrated that the game had not been stopped.

United head coach Amorim said after the game that he was “really worried” against the Athletic Club against the Athletic Club against the Athletic Club and the league game on Sunday in West Ham, in front of the Europa League semi-final against the Athletic Club, but he believes that the central defender will return before the end of the season.

“It's not a big problem, that's the good thing,” said Amorim on Wednesday at his press conference before the game.

De Ligt, who had played 42 games in his debut season in Old Trafford, had not started any of the six games from United to Brentford in any of the six games, but played a 25-minute cameo appearance in the first leg in Bilbao on May 1st.

United led 3-0 before the game on Thursday in Old Trafford, but Amorim warned of complacency and insisted that the tie was still alive.

“It is clear that if you look at our season, everything is possible,” he said.

“We have to understand that a goal can change everything, the dynamic of the game, one that you sent a week ago. We are fighting to win the game. We think about winning the game.”

United is already without a central defender Lisandro Martinez, who suffered a cruciate ligament injury in February, while Ayden Heaven did not play with march due to a knee injury and Diogo Dalot is traveling with veal injury.
