Motorcyclists were critically injured at Austin Expressway in the early morning

After a collision on a street in Austin, a motorcyclist is seriously injured in Austin in the early Wednesday, the officials say.

Austin PD alerted the public for the first time at 3:39 a.m. The incident occurred in the 3000 block of the North Mopac Exex in the alleys to the north.

According to 8:45 a.m. by Austin-Travis-County Ems, the driver of the motorcycle was brought to a nearby hospital for injuries, which they described as critical.

The other vehicle in the crash was a four -door limousine, the police said.

North Mopac was closed from the Westover Road to West 35th Street after the crash.
