Samsung Next Big Galaxy Watch Update -Becks with new functions

Software that is connected to the upcoming UI 8 o'clock update from Samsung for Galaxy Watch has appeared and reveals some new additions to the update such as health functions and Google Gemini.

On Twitter/X @devofipos found the firmware for an UI 8 o'clock and published some insights from the update. This includes a lot of colorful symbols that are new in the update for the various Samsung apps. The symbols correspond to the style of Samsung's One Ui 7 -update.

The same user also finds that Gemini, not assistant, is available in this update. It has been known for some time that Gemini will carry the OS, but this now indicates that Google may preinstall Gemini on Wear OS 6. Gemini is apparently “the same app” as assistant.

Apks from the update were also published, which Android authority has accessed since then. Saites suggest how Gemini will work, which sounds as the assistant currently works with some new functions. “Gemini actions” are listed that contain things like moving calendar events and the summary of e -mails.

  • What is the weather in London?
  • Tap the screen to be silent

Another app also indicated Samsung Health's impending “antioxidant index” that the company teased at the beginning of this year. Apparently, this function can use the health sensor on Galaxy Watch so as not to intrusively carry out a measurement.

The function, as Samsung had announced, primarily follows its beta-carotene values to adapt the diet. A disclaimer expressly reminds users that they should not be used to diagnose diseases.

  • To measure, press the thumb cushion firmly in the middle of the sensor on the back of your watch.
  • You can check the measurement progress on your phone.
  • In order to achieve more results, measure with your thumb, not with your wrist and measurements by at least 10 seconds.
  • Make sure your watch is connected to your phone.
  • Check the progress of the measurement on your phone.
  • Place your thumb on the sensor and press.
  • “Remember that the measurement of the antioxidative index only for fitness and wellness does not for diagnose or treat a medical state. If you are worried about your antioxidant level, you should see a medical specialist.”

Graphics also show how the function works in the app.

Samsung is expected to launch a UI 8 o'clock on the Galaxy Watch 8 series later this year, probably in addition to the introduction of a UI 8 itself on the company's new foldables, as is rumored in July.
