Heavy storm guard until 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon – KBSi Fox23 News Cape Girardeau News

The Storm Prediction Center issued A Heavy thunderstorm clock For South Missouri and parts in the southwest of Illinois until 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

The primary threats include harmful wind gusts of up to 75 miles per hour, large hail with a diameter of up to 1.5 inches and one or two tornado.

A rapidly moving storms was over Southwest Missouri this morning and will be followed to the east.

A Heavy thunderstorm clock means that the conditions for heavy thunderstorms in and near the watch area are cheap.
