Death of the child, 3, examined, Boston police says – NBC Boston

A toddler died after having stopped in Mattapan in Mattapan on Tuesday in Boston in Mattapan, the police announced on Wednesday when they examined what happened.

No arrests were made in the death of the 3-year-old, the police said. They did not say whether death was considered suspicious.

The incident was initially reported to a residential building in Hannon Street near Morton Street on Tuesday. When the officials arrived, they were informed that the child who had been reported had been taken to a hospital in heart arrest.

This child had already been taken to a hospital in which the officials were later informed that the child was declared dead, the police said. It was not immediately clear what caused the child's death if it was still determined.

The incident remained examined on Wednesday afternoon.
