This Xbox Handheld -Leck suggests that the new device is actually the ROG Ally 2

We might have our first look at the Asus Rog Ally 2And again the rumored Xbox Gaming handheld with the kind permission of a new leak. Pictures of two devices have appeared together with specifications, and they suggest that Asus prepares new high-end and mid-range handhelds, both of them wear a radical new grip design.

Asus is aimed at the steam deck and its position as the best handheld -gaming -PC with both seepage -leaked devices. While rumors over an Xbox handheld are strong, this leak indicate the ASUS plan, the ROG Ally 2 simply publishes with a model with a dedicated Xbox button.

This leak takes place via regular Tech Leaker Huang514613 in an X -Post, in which it is claimed that the images contain not only one but two new ROG allies. It is also said that the devices for publication in Indonesia were certified and are officially listed as ROG Ally 2 instead of both devices as Xbox-associated model.

One of these seepers is black and has an Xbox Guide button, the other is white. In particular, both handheld handles in the bulky controller style have a big change compared to the slim grip design of all previous ally handhelds.

As far as the reported specifications are concerned, the Black Asus Rog Ally 2, which is also referred to as the Xbox model, is driven by an AMD Ryzen Z2 extrem with 64 GB LPDDDR5x-8533 RAM and a 7-inch 12-HZ display.

As far as the white model is concerned, it is expected to sit behind the black model in terms of performance and contain only an AMD Aeiirth Plus that is the successor to the van Gogh chips that currently supplies the steam deck with electricity. It has the same display, but it was not possible to recognize the system memory from the blurred image.

If Asus plans to publish a new handheld that only beats up the steam deck for electricity, it must also be competitive. Since we have dealt with many Windows handhelds, the operating system is often the largest weakness of a portable on which it is located, and Steamos is much easier to use and works much better.

It must also be noted that the first Steamos of third-party providers, the Lenovo Legion GO S, should arrive in a week, and will be a tough competition for all budget handhelds that arrive shortly afterwards.

As with every leak, we have to absorb this information with a huge pinch of salt until the confirmation comes directly from Asus. However, it is worth noting that new handhelds were annoyed by the April Fool's joke in the April Fool's joke, but has not been mentioned or officially shown since then.

After Computex 2025 would take place in just a few weeks, it would make sense for Asus to use this event as a start pad for the new handhelds, although there is still no indication that this is in the works.
