Steph Curry screamed after game 1 injury in the changing room against Timberwolves – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

Steph Curry didn't have to say a single word during the half -time after leaving the game with a thigh injury in game 1 of the playoff series by Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday evening in the Target Center.

He had been leaning back in the visitor's changing room in the second quarter since the beginning of the injury. When Warriors trainer Steve Kerr and the rest of the boys turned into the Midway break, Curry's face said everything.

Kerr looked at Curry, who fell tears into his face and instead of saying something, emotionally hugged his superstar Point Guard, Marcus Thompson II said.

“It's all I could do,” said Kerr to Thompson after the Warriors' 99-88 victory. “I just feel so bad for him. Everything he does. How much he is interested.”

Kerr added that nobody in the team said something to Curry at half -time who charges the injury in his locker with his headphones in the Golden State coach, it was to say Gary Payton II for Curry in the second half and the game plan for the last 24 minutes of the competition without her best player.

Curry left the game with 13 points in 13 minutes. It achieves an average of 22.6 points when shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 40 percent of 3-point range over eight games during the current playoff run of the Golden State and adds 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steal in 35.1 minutes.

An MRI revealed on Wednesday morning that Curry left a popular strain on class 1 and missed at least one week and had excluded it for at least games 2, 3 and 4. Game 5 is discontinued in Minnesota for next Wednesday. If necessary, on Sunday, May 18, in the Chase Center in San Francisco.

“He is obviously crushed,” Kerr told reporters Postgame. “But the boys picked him up and played a great game. Obviously we are worried about Steph, but it is part of the game. Boys are injured and they continue. Our boys did a great job and scored a great victory, 48 hours after a game victory of game 7.

“It is an amazing group of boys. They compete, they are together, were the best defense of the league since Jimmy trade, and that keeps us alive.”

The team gathered around his superstar and won a big win on the street. It will require a group effort, led by Curry's “Robin”, Jimmy Butler, to put on her superhero slopes against the Timberwolves.

“It is super motivating,” said Kevon Looney about Thompson, “he wore many of us on his back at the highest level. He set a high standard and just want to follow. He knows that we get his back.

“We didn't put our heads. We know how to fight. We know how to be the men in war.”
