2025 NBA playoff's panic knife: Which of four home teams that go in series should panic?

For the first time in NBA history, the four home teams with a higher seed game 1 lost in their second round. Home teams have been 0-5 so far in the off-season, which feels strange.

But is it reason to panic? Which fan base should grab the panic button? Let us classify all four home teams on our panic knife of 2025 NBA playoffs, with the teams being classified on a scale of 1-5 sirens.

1) Cleveland Cavaliers

Where are the cavaliers on the panic knife?

It is not just that Cleveland is 0: 2 to Indiana and drops both home games, or that the second loss was an intestinal punch, in which the Cavaliers led to a 48 second lead and found a way to blow it. No, the greater concern is injuries.

Darius Garland's value for the Cavaliers has never been more obvious than observing how they fought just to put the ball under pressure on the square and build up their offensive. Everything went to Donovan Mitchell, and although he scored 2 48 points in game, it wasn't enough. Garland has rasmessen (a bricked up great toe), which is painful, has already cost it the last four games and usually takes at least 10 days and sometimes weeks.

Evan Mobley would help with the creation of the shooting, especially in the semi -dishes, but he fights through a bricked up ankle that was suffered in game 1.

The Cavaliers have to win game 3 on the street, if they fall 0: 3 in the series, it is over. Cleveland needs garlands at almost 100%to throw off an Indiana team that is supplied with energy at home, but it doesn't sound as if it is (or Mobley) close to a return.

That is reason to panic in Cleveland.

2) Boston Celtics

The panic drops significantly here – it's just a game. Boston will not miss this series 45 3 hands again.

The Knicks tried to use part of the tactics that used magic in their first round, which Celtics pursued from the arch, but New York does not have the staff to withdraw it. It only “worked” because Boston missed the Open Shot Open Shot.

Two small reasons for Celtics fans, at least to know where the panic button is located, only in case. One thing is the health of Kristapaps Porzingis, if the big man cannot play, it makes life easier for the Karl-Anthony cities of the Knicks and asks Al Horford too much. Second, when the Knicks games can simply keep nearby (as in game 1), they have Jalen Brunson. New York's execution in late game was simply better.

3) Oklahoma City Donner

No need to panic here, it's just a loss, but this game raised this question: Are Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren ready for that moment? Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 33, but had to play in a lot when the nuggets push their defense to him. How you should. Which means that Williams and Holmgren have to pay them as a secondary scorer and shot creators, but Williams shot 5 out of 20 and Holmgren had a hard night too late. If you fight again in the next games, more sirens come into play.

4) Minnesota Timberwolves

No reason to panic. There can be a mild concern to lose game 1, but there are two reasons to remain optimistic. First, Stephen Curry is over the next week and Golden State cannot repeat this offensive performance without it (Draymond Green does not meet four 3 counters again). Second and above all, Anthony Edwards will not be that bad again. If he wants to be a top 5 player in the league, a man who receives MVP list if he wants to be the face of the league (even if he says that he doesn't), all of this is deserved in the playoffs.

Minnesota will not score 88 points again. Game 2 will look very different.
