The former Utah QB CAM is increasing from football due to hand injuries

The former quarterback Cameron Rising in Utah announced on Wednesday that he would withdraw from football.

The 25-year uprising started three games last season before suffering an injury at the end of his litter. He wrote in an Instagram story on Wednesday that two orthopedic doctors had advised him to give up football because of his hand.

Rising said in this position that he would undergo surgery and concentrate on rehab.

Rising played in 30 games for the utes and made 28 starts. He led Utah to PAC-12 championships in 2021 and 2022 and was an all-PAC-12 selection of the first team in 2021.

After 2022 he played in just three games and missed a knee injury throughout 2023. He was removed from the squad of Utes after last season.

Rising, who started his college career in Texas in 2018, had remained one year of justification in 2020 due to the redshirt season, the Covid 19 waiver in 2020.

Utah had already added the Transfer Quarterback Devon Dampier, which started in New Mexico during the 2024 season.

Rising 53 career touchdowns took fourth place ever in Utah.
