Buddy Matthews Aew Lenury & Return Update

AEW

AEW Star Buddy Matthews has presented an update about his relaxation and return plans for injuries that recently compete with Grand Slam Australia.

At the Ach-Pay Perw view of February 15, Buddy Matthews suffers an injury to his ankle, which required a hiking boot.

During an appearance on Insight with Chris van Vliet, Matthews opened the extent of his ankle injury and revealed that there was a partial tore and cartilage damage that said:

“It threw it quite badly. Had an X -ray, MRI. There was no break, but there was partially band tear and cartilage damage.

“(I am). I did not run, I didn't jump, I just started implementing Cardio, but then somehow stiffened. And, you know, we work through, but the documents told me that I have never seen an ankle roll under someone without destroying the bones, breaking up, decaying the bones.

“So I didn't break a bone, which was incredible, but then I had to wrestle 15 minutes later.”

Buddy Matthews made his honeymoon after suffering the injury after needing no surgery on his ankles, crutches, braces and adhesive tape during this time.

The AEW star also revealed that he was planning to get back into the ring to find out what would come next and said:

“I hope sooner than later. I obviously have to get into the ring and get it out and come back in ring form. But I hope to cross my fingers in the next few weeks.”

During the interview, Buddy Matthews would also weigh up a potential return to WWE, where he would work in the same company as Rhea Ripley.

Matthews was currently a member of the Hounds of Hell and was previously a member of the Haus from Black to departure from Malakai Black.

Since then, Black has returned to WWE and has brought his Aleister first name back together with a remix version of his title song.
