Evan Phillips injury: Dodgers RHP on IL with the right forearm discomfort

Matt Sau was appointed by the Dodgers on Wednesday, but the corresponding step was that Evan Phillips was released on the 15-day injured list of the right forearm accident.

Phillips already missed the first 21 games of this season on the injured list when he dealt with a right -wing rotator cuff in his shoulder during the 2024 night season.

The experienced right -hander did not allow a run in any of his first seven games this season and scored six with two walks in 5⅔ Innerings. With a goalless ninth inning, he earned the save in the series opening on Monday against the Marlins.

Sauer was selected on Triple-A on April 30th and could not be called back unless an injured player suspended. He did not beat Oklahoma City last week and was originally supposed to begin for the comets on Wednesday until these plans were recently scrapped by the Dodgers due to the strong use of Bullpen.

Sauer's last game was for the Dodgers and on April 29th threw five innings against the Marlins in the Dodger Stadium. He achieved four and had a run in the game won his first major League victory.

This was the second pitching squad that had moved the Dodgers on Getaway Day in Miami in Miami. Landon Knack was called on Wednesday and the reliever JP Feyereisen was equipped according to Oklahoma City.
