Biden criticizes Trump in the BBC interview

Six months after his party lost the presidential election, former President Joseph R. Biden resigned Jr. with a devastating conviction of his successor and his treatment with international matters.

In his first broadcast interview since leaving the White House, Mr. Biden President Trump Management of War in Ukraine and his handling of global allies. With the BBC, Mr. Biden also defended the time of his own withdrawal from the 2024 presidential campaign.

The former president has awarded some of Mr. Trump's actions regarding foreign policy – including his combative meeting in the Oval Office in February with President Volodymyr Zelensky from Ukraine.

“I thought it was as it took to America,” said Biden about the meeting. He also pointed out Mr. Trump's calls to rename the Gulf of Mexico, to take the Panama Canal back and to acquire Greenland.

“What the hell is going on here? Which president ever speaks so? This is not the one we are,” said Mr. Biden. “We have freedom, democracy, opportunities – not about confiscation.”

Although he did not mention Mr. Trump by name, his comments were a striking deviation from a long tradition in which former presidents reject the leaders. The attack indicated that the 82 -year -old Mr. Biden continues to play in his party as a public role, even how many Democrats blame him for their defeat of 2024 and want to concentrate on a new generation of managers.
