At least one killed in an ax attack at the Polish university

According to reports, a woman's head was separated on Wednesday when a man with an ax on a college campus attacked people in Poland.

The Polish police said a man was arrested after having killed a person with an ax at Warsaw University.

“The police arrested a man who joined the University of Warsaw campus. One person died, another was taken to the hospital with injuries,” said the Warsaw police in an explanation of X.

The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. local time when the 22-year-old man entered the campus.

“One person died, the other was taken to the hospital with serious injuries,” said the Warsaw police. “Prosecutors and police work on site. Actions continuously.”

The private broadcaster Polsat News reported that the separated head of a woman and an ax in school had been found, Reuters reported.

A spokesman for the public prosecutor informed the news agency that a female administrative employee was killed at the scene of the crime and a security officer was injured and taken to the hospital in a critical condition.
