Refugee flees Sea-Tac Airport in handcuffs, caught on video

New surveillance material was published, which shows the flight of Sedrick Stevensen, a refugee scope in Kentucky, from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

What is new:

The video captures Stevensen, who flees United Airlines in front of the ticket switch, runs through the terminal and climbs into a light rail train.

The film material, which is available on Wednesday from the port of Seattle, offers a detailed view of Stevensen's escape on Sunday morning. Although Stevensen was tied up on the wrists and tied up in the waist, he made it two bounty hunters who accompanied him to Kentucky for transport.

The video shows how Stevensen is moved through the airport with his hands under a sweatshirt and is persecuted by two people, one of whom overlooked a viewer during the chase.

What you say:

“This is quite unusual,” said Perry Cooper, spokesman for Sea Airport. “When we talk to our people, we have never seen this kind of things.”

The authorities were not informed in advance about the transfer of prisoners, which Cooper found that it was a common practice.

“It is not unusual for us to have transfers of this kind,” he said. “We do not ask for people who do prisoner broadcasts to notify us. It is up to them if they do it or not.”

The port of Seattle emphasized that it was not involved in the transport and was not responsible for the prison broadcasts arranged by external agencies.

The background story:

The 28 -year -old Stevensen has a history of the escape of custody. He was last seen at the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station in Seattle.

The bowling Green Police Department in Kentucky confirmed that Stevensen was a convicted criminal who did not appear for legal proceedings for prosecution for law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine and a handgun and an attempt to pass fake currencies.

“If someone sees this person, don't try to stop them, that's not what to do,” said Cooper, asking the public to call 911 and give a place and a description when Stevensen is discovered. The Sound Transit also asked the drivers to report their security hotline.

According to the Cooper, the distance from the terminal to the Light Rail platform is approximately 950 feet. Surveillance material showed that Stevensen fled towards the platform and his arms – probably because of the restrictions – moved to the north.

This is not the first time that Stevensen escapes the care. A news agency in Tennessee reported that he previously fled the law enforcement authorities a few years ago, only to reproduce later.
