BAP MLA Jaikrishn Patel in 'Cash-For-no-query' scandal sent to prison | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Bharat adivasi party (BAP) MLA Jaikrishn Patelwho represents the Bagidora Assembly constituency in Banswara, was sent to prison on Wednesday after a Anti-corruption office (ACB) Court ordered his judicial custody in the scandal of “cash for no-no-querie”.The court also sent Patel's cousin Vijay Patel in judicial custody. After his arrest on Sunday, the legislature spent his first night in prison. In the same case, the ACB became a two-day pre-trial detention for two other defendants alias Laxman Meena and Jagaram, which allegedly collected the bribe from Patel's personal assistant Rohit Meena, and helped hide it. The ACB was looking for a four -day pre -trial detention for all four men, but the dish only left Jaswant and Jagaram for two days. All four were made in court on Wednesday, where ACB officers informed the court that Jaikrishn's cell phone contains important evidence and that a further survey is required on the basis of the data called up by the device. The ACB said Vijay Patel has important information about the bribery contract, and both he and Jaikrishn have to be interviewed together to clarify their roles on this matter. In the meantime, Jaswant and Jagaram are asked how the money was forwarded to them, and the exact timeline of events, in particular their connection with Rohit Meena. An inspection of the bag, which contains the bribery of 20 LAKH, showed that 83,000 rupees were missing. The ACB is now trying to determine when and where the money disappeared.Jagaram and Jaswant, who are now in custody, claimed that the bag was untouched when they received them. However, the office believes that the money in the residence of the MLA, Rohit Meena during transport or by Jaswant or Jagaram, in whose house the money was finally hidden, could have been removed from Rohit Meena in the residence of the MLA.The ACB is still looking for Rohit Meena, which is on the run with the bribe. Raids were carried out in his house and at other alleged locations, but it does not remain understandable.
