New details appear via Red Sox City Connect Jersey Leak

More than a month ago we reported about LECKS for Red Sox, Marlins and White Sox, with both the Marlins and the White Sox Loachs 100% correct. We can certainly assume that the Red Sox CC Leck contained in this sentence is also correct, and now another new leak confirms its legitimacy.

Let us quickly check what we already knew about the Red Sox Lob. I said the following in this previous article:

__________

We know a few things about the Red Sox New City Connect. We know that it will supposedly be green. Red Sox CEO and President Sam Kennedy recently appeared in the Podcast “Fenway Rundown” from Masslive and basically confirmed that the jersey will be a green tone and has a “topic with a certain wall in the left field”, which, according to NESN, refers to the green monster.

If this jersey is indeed the next city of BOOX, it will certainly be laid with the pictures shown above. I leave it up to you Boston Red Sox fans to add thoughts, but the green color and the “Red Sox” font seem to be pretty good with that of the Monstah.

Red Sox is in the same font as “Boston” on the wall, and the legumes with the “B” in a circle also match the indicators “H” and “E” (hit and error) on the wall.

Another indication that this jersey goes around the wall: Take a look at the Jock Day:

This is clearly an indication of the lights for the “ball” “strike” and “out” initiators on the green monster.

__________

While everyone who has proven to be right, we never saw photos of the back of the jerseys, and we have not seen what one of the jerseys with front or back numbers or NOB would look like. With both Marlins and White Sox (and later Rocky Mountains), none of these details became obvious until the teams were officially unveiled.

This latest leak on the Red Sox City Connect now shows these details and the obligatory “collar slogan” that all CCS receive.

This picture comes from a BetMGM tweet, although the original origin is not known.

This jersey shows that the hidden collar message “1912” will be – which is clearly opened this year Fenway Park. Since we already know pretty much that the CC version 2.0 in Boston Fenways celebrates the green monster, the date certainly looks at.

This leak also shows the even numbers, while earlier leaks have not done so. There is a yellow number on the front of the jersey, under the word mark “Red Sox” (which matches the font on the green monster and the color). This is also clearly an indication of the Fenway ad, in which runs in an ining in which a team currently still beats is displayed yellow.

Also take a look at the scoreboard numbers. Note how tiny “notches” are at the top of every number shown:

Now take a look at the rear number of the jersey shown above. The CC designer added notification to the rear jersey numbers.

I'm not sure if I love or hate it. I assume that depends on your own perspective. We have seen many good ideas for CCS that were ruined when designers try to be too sweet from half, but I want to say that this is exactly right. The numbers work with the jersey, but they don't overwhelm it. I have to see more than just one leak, but after what I've seen so far, it feels like the designers have made this fine line between stupid and smart and correct.

Of course, at every previous leak we have not seen which caps, pants or special socks are paired with the jersey. I don't want to guess anyone, but if you put a weapon on my head, I would say that the cap of the same green tone as the jersey will be, and these are combined with white pants. I hope the socks are green. (Yes, I know that many of them bothers that a team called Red Namens Red Sock Would wear a color stock that is not red socks, but unfortunately the horse left the barn a long time ago.) I am quite confident that you will not introduce this city connection red.

The Red Sox will be the final team in 2025 to officially unveiled your city connection, and we can probably expect this next week. Boston will debut his new CCS on Friday, May 16.

What do you think about the additional details that this leak have provided?
