Nightly Pulse: NBA News & Highlights from May 7th

🏀 NBA Playoffs scored points tonight

New York Knicks at Boston Celtics (live on TNT/Trutv/Max)

Denver Nuggets at Oklahoma City Thunder (9:30 ET on TNT/Trutv/Max)

☘️ Boston during the break

The second quarter was a kind of roller coaster ride, but in the end the Knicks deleted two points from their deficit in the first quarter. Thanks to a 9-0 run, the Celtics led from up to 16.

An interesting development is that Boston is not transferable on the three-ball. The Celtics fought in game 1 in this area and did not perform well this evening (5-21). However, they change their philosophy tonight and let Jaylen Brown get into attack mode, since JB is up to 17 points on 16 FGA and only four of these attempts come from beyond the arch.

Karl-Anthony Towns turned in a large second quarter and are now up to 14 points and 10 rebounds in 19 minutes.

Start the second half on TNT/Trutv/Max.

🔥 c goes on a run

Thanks to a 9-0 run, Boston opened a lead of 16 points in the first half. Jaylen Brown was the key with 16 points (7-14 FG), six rebounds and two steals. Derrick White also added three 3 to help the matter.

Now catch the end of the first half on TNT.

🗽 Kat, Knicks steal back

Karl-Anthony Towns are up to eight points in the second and 12 points at night, as the Knicks closed the gap with the Celtics in the middle of the second quarter. Kat has become more aggressive in the second and has converted a few and 1 options. The Knicks shortened their deficit from 11 to seven

🍿 Celtics leads by 11 after 1Q

Celtics 24, Knicks 13

The defense decided the Faustviertel when we had an opening time with a low score in TD Garden. For comparison: No quarter in game 1 had scored less than 41 points. The Knicks were turned to 26 percent from the ground and 12.5 percent by Deep. The Celtics were a bit crispier and shoot 40 percent of the ground and 3 against 10 from beyond the arch.

Switch on to TNT to determine whether the kinks can get going on the offensive or whether the Celtics can continue to add their leadership.

💪 Jayl Brown in attack mode

Jaylen Brown is doing this evening at both ends of the soil, including this hard bucket, to help the Celtics reach a lead of 10 points in the first quarter. So far he has added three rebounds and support in 11 minutes of work.

☘️ Celtics against Knicks Matchup

The Celtics and Knicks have this evening in TD Garden in game 2 of their semi -final series of the Eastern Conference. The Knicks fought back from a big deficit in the second half in game 1 and literally stole the victory thanks to some defenders in the late game of Mikal Bridges.

This gives the Knicks a juice in game 2, but the defending champions will not go out quietly. Put in our Celtics VS Knicks series hub with all important statistics, trends and information when the series unfolds.

📰 NBA action strands tonight

  • Celtics, Thunder astonishment to relax: Both the Celtics and the thunder were annoyed in their series openings after they had made dominating efforts in the first round. This is what makes the pressure on both teams this evening, as they no longer have to fall back 0: 2 in their respective series and take to the streets. In the past, teams that drop the first two games in the semi -finals of the NBA Conference will only progress 7% of the time.
  • Knicks, Nuggets try to maintain pressure: The Knicks and Nuggets both stolen the home advantage of Home Court after winning games 1 on the street. Can both teams get greedy and make it 2-0 when their next two games come at home?
  • Develop Road Warrior's trend: Each series played at least one game and every game 1 went into the visiting team. Take a look at our deep immersion how rarely it is to visit the teams in the modern era 4: 0 in game 1.
