Dana Hills's students mourn 16-year-olds who were killed in the event of an accident near the port

Friends who loved the Dana Hills High School in the second year Becca Cisspedes brought flowers to their memorial after their truck hit a tree on Tuesday morning.

The 16-year-old drove five other teenagers when the crash took place at 11.45 a.m. near Iceland Way and Dana Point Harbor Drive, according to the Sheriff department of Orange County. Investigators believe that the vehicle has joined a tree in the middle section.

“I can still feel the warmth in my hand and held her hand,” he said. “Your hand was down and I said: 'Becca, if you can hear me, just press you' and I felt a movement. The Emt felt a slow pulse, and I looked down and her arm was broken. So whatever she could raise to press my hand, did it.”

According to OCSD, there is still a student at the Dana Hills High School and two young men in a critical condition. Two other students, a boy and a girl, had minor injuries.

“We are aware that this tragedy influences our entire school family and supports several advisory agencies and therapy dogs on campus for every student or in need,” wrote Brittany Casey, headmistress of the Dana Hills High School. ”

The fatal collision brought overwhelming sadness to many students.

“People cry in the bathing rooms, go around, hood, go down,” said student Justin Duarte.

The crash made some think about their own driving habits.

“We are definitely more careful when we drive, wear seat belts, follow all the rules and not accelerate,” said student Chase Hahas.
