Anchorage Travel Expo emphasizes ideas for summer in Alaska

Anchorage, Alaska (Ktuu) – it is time to make plans for the summer!

Dozens of exhibitors from all over Alaska shared their products on the annual Anchorage Travel Expo in the dena'ina center on Wednesday. The event was organized by VISIT Anchorage.

The exhibits included hiking guides, flightship, glacier trips, restaurants, museums and cultural experiences.

Jack Bonney, Vice President for Communication at Visit Anchorage, is a time for travel and tourism groups and Alaskan to learn about holiday opportunities in her own back yard.

“We live in a fantastic place. It is worthwhile that people save and think about a trip to Alaska for their whole life, and we as residents can live this experience every day. So it is really important that we make the best of the place we are where,” said Bonney.

Bonney said this was the second time that Expo was open to the public and he hopes that it will be every year.
