The Colorado police say, dog shot, after attacking the officer in the apartment complex

The authorities examine and killed a dog in Colorado, who was supposedly overturned against another officer.

The investigators said the officials answered a residential building on S. Knox Court in Sheridan on Tuesday after a report on an ongoing slump. During the survey of three people in the parking lot, the officials found that it was not a break -in. The residents had called 911 after seeing a tenant who checked the windows, but she was simply unable to return to her house.

A woman who was interviewed by the police had a dog on a leash. The authorities said when the first officer began to interview the group, the dog seemed friendly. But they said when she started going to the officer, the dog suddenly became aggressive.

The police said the dog had come away from its owner and charged the first officer, barked and fell. When the officer continued to pursue it, the second officer reported that the dog reported in the back.

The owner and her friend brought the dog to an veterinary clinic for treatment, where he later died.

The police department published the incident, which is still being investigated.
