The police are examining drive-by shots in North Lufkin

Lufkin, Texas (KTRE) -The police are investigating a Driveby shooting in Lufkin on Wednesday.

According to a press release from the Lufkin Police Department, the officials were called in a house near the intersection of the Wilson and Culverhouse streets around 1:30 p.m.

The crime scene team was able to search for a metal detector in the front yard for list housings.

Neither the people in the house nor witnesses at the crime scene could say who may be responsible, but the police said they believe that this is a targeted incident. The publication states that a gray four-door Nissan sedan was involved.

The authorities ask every information with relevant information to call crime stopper anonymously under 639 tips or the non-emergency line of the police under 633-0359.
