Shai Gilgeous-Alexander makes the NBA story in Thunder-Nuggets Game 2

The Oklahoma City Thunder won the best 68 games in the regular season, led by NBA MVP leader Shai Gilgeous-Aalexander, and the superstar Point Guard certainly wants to ride his hot hand to a championship.

Well, the thunder seemed to get to know her match in the second round of the playoffs and lost game 1 against the Denver Nuggets. During her defeat in game 1, Gilgeous-Alexander left 33 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists at 12-26 shooting, but he made Oklahoma City suffer the same fate in game 2.

The thunder not only put the NBA record for most points in half in playoff history with 87 in game 2 on Wednesday, but Gilgeous-Alexander put together a historical performance.

Gilgeous-Aalexander ended his night after only three quarters due to an unexpected advantage, but his three-fourth place was out of the charts. In just 30 minutes of action, Gilgeous-Alexander left 34 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists in hyperefficient 11-13 shootings from the field and 11-11 from the free sausage line.

Gilgeous-Alexander ended his night with a +51 plus/minus, the highest brand in a playoff game in the history of NBA Play-by-Play.

The record was previously held by LeBron James, Desmond Bane and Jimmy Butler, who each achieved a +46 in their respective games. Gilgeous-Alexander continues to strengthen his 2024-25 campaign in the record books, especially since this does this against the three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic and Company.

The thunder that connects the series with 1: 1 was certainly expected, but when they return to Denver games 3 and 4, the nuggets remain in a good position despite the outbreak.
