Schurr Trial Jury is silent while the Deadlock is continued

Grann Rapids, me. The jury in the top-class legal proceedings against Christopher Schurr spent all day without updates and raises questions about her advice. This situation is particularly noteworthy, since the jury announced to the judge on Tuesday, after only ten hours of advice, that they were unable to achieve a judgment.

Legal experts analyze the effects of these expanded silence. Lew Langham, emeritus legal professor at the Cooley Law School and a former state police detective in Michigan, commented on the situation. He explained: “It seems that they get stuck there and that there is no movement in both directions in the direction of conviction or not.”

Langham expressed that he was not surprised at what the jury was missing. He expected the judge because of a suspended jury if the jury had not made any judgment at the end of the day until the end of the day. He found that in some cases juries may apply again to check the evidence again, but based on the current circumstances, he believes that they are probably “in no better position than yesterday”.

With a view to the future, Langham suspects that a resolution is imminent. “I suspect it should be tomorrow, either way. [Thursday] Should find out whether we have a judgment or the judge declares a Mistrial based on a suspended jury, ”he said.

It is expected that the result will soon develop, with all the eyes on the next movement of the jury.
