Barker beats the Infield Grounder on the bottom of the eighth

Payson, Ill.-Lane Barker, defeated the throw on a floor ball on the second basis and achieved the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inner when the Payson Seymour baseball team scored an 8: 7 victory on Wednesday afternoon.

Isiah Brass made central (7-16) to supply eighth place in the upper side. Barker and Blake Schwartz both went to access the bottom of the inner. After Connor Howell flew into the middle, Barker and Schwartz both brought a base to a handed over ball.

Hunter Miller was deliberately left to load the bases. Nolan Sparks then hit Colton Cooley in the Second Base, who shot Luke Ippensen home, but Barker hit the throw to win the game.

Central used two walks and six goals to achieve four runs in the seventh game to tie the game. Cooley met an RBI double, and Ippensen and Grant Hamilton had both RBI singles. Briggs Wiskirchens RBI-Single tied the score with 7: 7.

Schwartz had three goals and two stolen bases, and Miller, Sparks and Nick Boone had all two goals for the Indians (9-11), who also benefited from eight walks.
