Jamestown, ND, May 8th. – One of Jacob Yaeger's horses was killed on Saturday evening when he loosened in the pasture. It was hit by lightning.

Lawrence C. Amick from Marstonmoor lost a horse that was also killed by flash during the storm.

Mrs. Skillingstad, near Pingree, lost a horse that was hit by lightning that hit the barn and tore things up a bit. The horse was killed. Fortunately, the injury of the barn was limited to the shock because the fire did not follow.
